Born in Malden, Ma, and raised in Burlington, MA, Jonathan Kessler took piano lessons at a very young age and unwittingly found his calling in life. By the age of 13, he was a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, drums, guitar, and bass.
After graduating from Burlington (MA) High School, Jonathan attended Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Since 1999, Jonathan has been teaching students through private lessons on Piano, Drums, and Guitar, as well as disciplines such as music theory and composition.
In addition to teaching, Jonathan’s experience contains touch-points across the music industry, including managing music-stores, acting as a musical director for numerous organizations, percussionist for the Citations Drum & Bugle Corps, and professional song writing/recording.
