Cello (prelude program)

Welcome to the Prelude Program!  This "private lesson" program is an introduction into the wonderful world of teaching music.  

Onset finds the best people.  The up and coming.  The ones who check off all the boxes. 

These fun, educational and effective lessons will help these music teachers gain even more experiance.  

In exchange, students will receive their introduction to music for as low as $29/half hour.  It's a win-win. 

 

With out further ado, Onset Music is excited to introduce to you:

 

Lazar Kaminsky (Cello)

 

Lazar Kaminsky is a cellist based in the Boston area. He has been playing the cello for 11 years. Throughout his life, Lazar has won competitions, and performed major solo, chamber, and orchestral works around the world. His accomplishments include winning first prizes at the New England Conservatory Solo String Competition, the AIMS Festival Concerto Competition, which he won twice, and the New York Solo Competition, where he also won the Special Award. Orchestras with which Lazar has performed major solo works include the AIMS Festival String Orchestra, the AIMS Festival Symphony Orchestra, and the NEC String Chamber Orchestra where he was also principal cellist. He was the principal cellist of the NEC Youth Symphony in their 2019 season. Lazar has performed as soloist in NEC’s Jordan Hall, Italy, Spain, Israel, and Mexico.

 

Lazar is offering lessons on Fridays.
