Alyssa Adario – Piano/guitar
Alyssa Adario is a well-rounded contemporary musician and songwriter, with extensive experience performing in rock and jazz ensembles, as well as a solo musician. Beginning her musical journey with classical voice lessons, Alyssa has studied voice, piano and guitar under a multitude of different teachers and in different styles, drawing these influences together to compose music that stands out for its hard hitting and powerful nature. Alyssa primarily composes music for performance by rock bands, but also performs as a solo act. She studied guitar under Joshua Millard and graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Sound Recording Technology at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in May 2018. Since graduating, Alyssa performs throughout New England as a solo musician and in the Americana duo Birchwood Blaze, while teaching and building clientele as an audio engineer.
In 2012, Alyssa was the winner of The Six Strings of Madness competition with her cover of "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence. She was awarded a brand new PRS guitar, concert tickets and a chance to meet the bands Evanescence, Halestorm, Chevelle and Cavo, who then signed the guitar.
